Wording for the "Extra details" box

Choose "Block figure" under "Toy style" yourself, because these lines fill in the details, not the style. Then open "More options" and paste one into "Extra details", which holds up to 500 characters. Change the clothes, hair and props to match you.

Tips for a better likeness as a block figure

Pick a photo where your hair and glasses are clear. A small brick figure has little room for a detailed face, so hair, glasses, a beard or a hat do most of the work. Toy Studio's upload box says "A visible face gives the best likeness."

Use a head-and-shoulders selfie in daylight. Face the window, not a lamp behind you. On a phone, the upload box can open your front camera.

Name what makes you you. Write two or three details in "Extra details" even though they're in the photo: "short curly brown hair, round tortoiseshell glasses, a gray beard".

Choose one or two props. A mug and a laptop are easy to check on a phone screen. Six accessories turn into clutter around a small figure.

Type the box name exactly. "Name on the box" takes up to 40 characters. Check the spelling on the result, since AI can get letters wrong.

Leave brand names out. Don't type LEGO or any other toy brand in "Extra details" or "Name on the box". Toy Studio is built to draw generic packaging with no real toy-brand logos, and your own name is the text that belongs there.

Limits to know

You get a picture, not a toy. Nothing gets shipped. For a figure you can hold, order one from LEGO (next section) and use your picture to choose the parts.

No "Want to change something?" box. Toy Studio doesn't offer the revise box, so a fix means editing "Extra details" and running it again, for another 85 credits at current prices.

One photo, one figure, one shape. Each run takes one photo and makes one image in a fixed 3:4 shape. A family set means one run per person.

Real minifigures of yourself from LEGO

As of September 2026, LEGO offers three ways to build a minifigure that looks like you, and in each one you pick LEGO's own parts yourself. Here they are next to Toy Studio:

Minifigure Factory designs are moderated before they're printed, and LEGO's rules ban depictions of celebrities and famous people. LEGO.com requires online buyers to be 18 or older. With Create a Minifigure you can make as many as 30 different characters, the parts arrive unassembled in a bag, and LEGO can't take returns on those orders right now.

LEGO trademarks and what to leave off your picture

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this page or Toybox AI.

The LEGO Group's Fair Play policy asks that the LEGO name be used as an adjective ("LEGO bricks", never "LEGOs") and says the LEGO logo must never appear on an unofficial website. The same page lists LEGO, the LEGO logo and the Minifigure among the group's trademarks, and warns that a disclaimer doesn't fix an improper use of the mark. Whichever AI LEGO generator you use, the same rules apply to what you post:

• No logo. Keep the LEGO logo off your picture, your set box and anything you print.
• Honest wording. Call it "LEGO-style" or "brick-built", not an official LEGO set or minifigure.
