Where to print flyers for cheap depends on how many you need and how soon. For a few copies, a public library charges cents a page, and some print free. For a stack by this afternoon, office stores and pharmacies print the same day. For 100 or more that can wait a week, online printers cost less per flyer. Below are the listed prices, the same-day cutoffs, which places print in color and which print for free, and how to get your file ready so the shop can print it.
Where to print flyers for cheap: prices compared
These are the starting prices each place lists on its own page as of September 2026. Real totals depend on paper, quantity and sides, so treat them as a floor, not a quote.

For a quick sense of cost per flyer: 100 color letter flyers at San Jose's 45 cents come to $45, at FedEx Office's listed $0.80 to $80, and at CVS's $1.19 to $119. At 4OVER4, 50 standard flyers from $39.54 work out to about 79 cents each before shipping.
Office stores: Staples, FedEx Office and Office Depot
Office stores sit in the middle: more per page than a library, faster than an online printer, and they handle color, heavier paper and cutting.
- Staples. Orders placed by noon are ready the same day, and later ones the next day. Staples lists copies and documents from $0.34, flyers from $16.99 and posters from $13.99.
- FedEx Office. Most flyer orders placed online for store pickup are ready within 24 hours, often the same day. Uploaded files print at 8.5 x 11 with a small margin, while 5.5 x 8.5, 11 x 17 and full-bleed flyers come from FedEx's Canva design templates. The four paper choices are 32 lb laser, 28 lb recycled, gloss white and a heavier 60 lb laser.
- Office Depot and OfficeMax. Same-Day Service needs the order in by 2 PM local time, placed at the counter or online for store pickup, and requested on the job ticket. Color copies over 1,000 and black-and-white copies over 2,000 don't qualify.
- The UPS Store. Stores print flyers in color or in black and white on 28 lb or 80 lb paper, with runs as small as 100, and some locations have a designer on staff. Each store is independently owned, so call yours to check services and prices.
Where to print flyers same day
Staples, Office Depot, FedEx Office and both big pharmacy chains print same day, with different cutoffs. As of September 2026:

The cutoff is for the order, not for when you arrive, so upload the file from home before the deadline and pick it up later.
Where to print flyers in color
Color costs three times as much as black and white at the two libraries here that list both. San Jose Public Library charges 15 cents for black and white and 45 cents for color, and Boston Public Library 20 cents and 60 cents a side. Chicago Public Library and Multnomah County Library print black and white only.
Two ways to spend less on color:
- Fit two half-page flyers on each sheet. A letter page holds two 5.5 x 8.5 flyers, so one 45-cent color page at San Jose becomes two flyers at about 23 cents each. Four quarter-page flyers per sheet bring it to about 11 cents.
- Design for black and white. A flyer that reads well in black and white can go on the cheaper setting at any library, and it photocopies cleanly if you need more later.

Where to print flyers for free
Some public libraries print free, up to a daily or monthly limit. As of September 2026:
- Multnomah County Library in Oregon: printing is free, in black and white, with a daily cap of 100 one-sided sheets or 50 two-sided ones.
- Chicago Public Library: the first $1.50 of printing each day is free, which is 10 single-sided sheets at 15 cents. It takes cash only after that.
- Boston Public Library: cardholders start each month with $20 of free printing, enough for 100 black-and-white sides or 33 color sides.
These rules belong to each library system, not to libraries in general, so look up your own library's printing page before you go. Boston's free balance, for example, comes with a library card, and visitors add money to a guest print account instead.
Pharmacies: CVS and Walgreens
Pharmacy photo counters print documents and flyers too, and you order online for pickup at the counter.
- CVS Photo lists a single-sided color copy on 8.5 x 11 paper at $1.19 each, available for same-day pickup, and a single-sided black-and-white copy at $0.29. Its upload takes PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, RTF, TXT, TIFF and BMP files up to 50 MB. PNG and JPG aren't on the list, so turn an image flyer into a PDF before you upload it.
- Walgreens Photo prints business flyers from your own artwork or its templates, with free same-day pickup. Its posters run from 11 x 14 to 24 x 36 inches, from $12.99.
Online printers for 100 or more
Online printers cost less per flyer on bigger runs, at the price of waiting for shipping.
- 4OVER4 lists 50 standard flyers from $39.54, in popular sizes of 4.25 x 5.5, 5.5 x 8.5 and 8.5 x 11, and orders can start at 25 or 50 pieces. Standard orders take 3 to 5 business days, and some products offer rush or same-day printing. It takes PDF, AI, PSD and EPS files and calls PDF the most reliable, and it asks for CMYK artwork at 300 DPI with 0.125 inch of bleed.
- Vistaprint offers 11 flyer sizes, four paper stocks, and orders of 25 up to 20,000. Standard delivery takes 6 business days at the soonest, and rush takes 2.
4OVER4's templates are sized to trim and bleed, so color can run to the edge as long as the file carries that extra 0.125 inch on all four sides. Every flyer dimension, with bleed sizes in pixels, is in what size is a flyer.
Get your file ready before you go
Check these six things before you upload or walk in.
- Check the pixels. A letter flyer needs 2550 x 3300 pixels to print at 300 per inch. A file started at screen resolution prints soft even though it looks crisp on screen, and print resolution by size shows the math for other sizes.
- Save a PDF. FedEx Office takes PDFs and image files, but CVS's document upload takes no PNG or JPG, and 4OVER4 names PDF as its most reliable format. To wrap an image flyer in a PDF, insert it on a page in Word and save a copy as PDF, as shown in the Word flyer steps.
- Ask about color mode. 4OVER4 asks for CMYK artwork. If your file is RGB, as a Flyer Maker PNG is, ask the printer whether it converts RGB files for you.
- Make one file per side for double-sided flyers. FedEx Office wants each side as its own PDF page or its own image.
- Expect a margin unless the shop trims. FedEx uploads print with a small white border, and libraries and home printers leave one too.
- Print one proof before the stack, and read the date, time, address and phone number on paper.

- Type the flyer's words into "Describe your flyer", from the headline down to the email or phone number people should use. Whatever you skip, the tool may fill with invented text.
- Choose Tall ("Printing") under "Size", then set "Quality" to 4K in "More options" for a letter flyer. For printing, choose 2K or 4K.
- Pick "Black and white" under "Colors" if you'll print at a library's black-and-white rate.
