Match the flyer's shape to the video
Video Creator's Format choices are Vertical (9:16) and Wide (16:9), while Flyer Maker's sizes are Portrait (4:5), Tall (3:4) and Wide (5:4), so no flyer comes out in a video shape. Toybox doesn't crop or resize your start image to fit, so the framing is most predictable when the flyer already has the video's shape.

Tips for motion that keeps the text readable
- Say what stays still first. Open the prompt with "Keep all text and the layout of the flyer still and sharp", then describe only what moves. Nothing in either tool locks the letters in place, so watch every clip before you post it.
- Pick one small motion. Drifting confetti, a soft glow on string lights, steam, falling snow, or a slow push in. Skip spins and fast zooms, which move the text itself.
- Describe the camera in film terms. Google's Veo 3.1 prompting guide suggests a five-part prompt that opens with the camera work, then names the subject, the action, the setting and the look. It lists moves such as dolly, tracking and crane shots and a slow pan. For a flyer, "static camera" or "very slow push in" keeps the frame steady.
- Leave out strobe and rapid flashing. W3C's accessibility guideline 2.3.1 allows no more than three flashes in any one-second period (unless the flashes stay below its brightness thresholds), because flashing can trigger seizures. On a club flyer, ask for "a slow, gentle glow" instead of "strobe lights".
- Land on the clean flyer. Add the same flyer as the end frame so the clip finishes on your original design. Adding an end frame fixes the length at 8 seconds.
- List what to avoid in Video Creator. Under More options, "Things to avoid" takes a list such as "changing text, extra words, flicker". Lite has no such box.

Limits to know
- Sound follows your description. Clips come with sound, and there's no separate setting for it, so add a line such as "soft upbeat music, no voices" to the prompt. To use a specific song instead, lower the clip's audio in your editing app or pick a sound when you post. AI video with sound covers sound cues in more detail.
- Text can shift. Letters can blur, bend or change while the image moves. If every word must stay perfect, animate live text in a template editor instead, where the letters stay type rather than pixels.
- Eight seconds at most. For a video of about 15 seconds, make two 8-second clips from the same flyer and stitch them together in any video editing app.
- Resolution depends on the tool. Video Creator makes 720p clips. Lite gives a choice of 720p or 1080p, and its 1080p clips are always 8 seconds.
- A Pro plan is required. Both video tools need Pro or higher. If a generation fails, your credits are refunded automatically.
Which video tool to use for a flyer
For a flyer with small print, Video Creator Lite at 1080p ("Sharper" in its Quality picker) draws the letters with 1.5 times as many pixels in each direction as 720p, and it currently costs fewer credits than Video Creator. How to convert a flyer to video in Video Creator
- Design the flyer with Flyer Maker, proofread it, and download the PNG.
- Reshape it if you'll post a Reel or Story. Open the flyer in Smart Editor, type "Keep every word and the design the same, and fit it to a tall vertical frame" into "What should change?", set Shape to Story (9:16), select "Apply edit", and proofread the new version.
- In Video Creator, type the motion into "Describe your video", up to 2,000 characters. Start with what stays still.
- Choose "Start from a photo" and add the flyer as the Start frame. Add it again as the End frame if you want the clip to finish on the clean design.
