Wixel's free plan includes 120 AI credits a month, with a cap of 30 a day, and Wixel estimates that covers up to 20 logos. AI generations and AI edits use credits, while moving things around and changing colors and fonts by hand costs none. Downloads are free and include SVG, transparent PNG and JPG files. Paid plans add credits: Basic is $90 a year for 350 credits a month, and Pro is $290 a year for 850. Wixel licenses its icons and fonts for commercial use, but any Wixel user can pick the same ones, so your logo is distinct only through how you combine them. It fits a new business that needs a free vector file today.
Brandmark
Brandmark sells logos for a one-time price with no monthly fee. You can generate as many logos as you like without an account, built from Brandmark's own fonts and templates or around an icon drawn by generative AI. Looka's $20 Basic package has no vector file, while Brandmark's $35 Basic package does. It fits someone who wants files and a brand guide paid for once.
Canva
Canva's AI logo generator works from a written prompt. You type the prompt, sign in, generate, then change the words or the style and generate again if needed, and download the logo or open it in the Canva editor. Canva says the designs you generate belong to you as far as Canva is concerned, but it warns that you may not hold exclusive rights, and it doesn't promise that AI output is cleared for use. The Free plan draws on a limited monthly AI allowance, Canva Pro gets 10 times as much, and Free downloads PNG, JPG and PDF files. Transparent PNGs and SVGs need a paid plan such as Pro, priced at US$144 a year for one person in the US. Canva's help center also says a mark assembled from its templates or stock graphics isn't registrable, since other users can pick the same parts; its fonts, simple lines and shapes are fine to use. It fits a business that already makes its flyers and posts in Canva and will build the mark from those basic parts.
Recraft
Recraft is an AI image tool with vector models: its Vector variant produces SVG files you can edit, rather than pixel images. Free-plan credits reset every day and vector generation is included, but every free-plan image is public, owned by Recraft and not licensed for commercial use. Basic costs $10 a month billed yearly ($120), or $12 on monthly billing, for 1,000 credits a month, and adds commercial rights and private generations. Pro starts at $16 a month billed yearly for 2,000 credits. Recraft says images made on a paid plan are yours to use commercially, and that stays true after you cancel. It fits someone comfortable writing prompts who wants an SVG to adjust by hand, on a paid plan.
ChatGPT
ChatGPT Images is available on every ChatGPT plan, and its templates cover formats such as posters and logos. It can add text, make a background transparent when asked, rework an uploaded image, and on the mobile app turn a sketch into an image. As of September 2026, the Free plan has its own image generation limit and tells you when you reach it, Go is $8 a month with higher limits, and Plus is $20 a month in the US. OpenAI's terms assign you its rights in what you generate, but also warn that someone else may get something similar. OpenAI's image guide says its models can have trouble placing text precisely and keeping brand elements the same from one image to the next, and they output PNG, JPEG or WebP, which are pixel formats. Toybox Logo Generator
Toybox AI's Logo Generator takes a name and an optional description, with no questionnaire, and returns one design laid out up to four ways. The Icon ("A square symbol") is always included, and you can add Horizontal ("Icon + company name"), Wordmark ("Just the name, styled") and Stacked ("Icon above the name"). The name field holds 100 characters, the description 1,000, and "More options" adds up to 4 brand colors. Logo Generator is a Pro plan tool, and each run currently costs 80 credits for the Icon alone, rising by 50 per extra layout to 230 for all four. A Pro plan's 1,000 monthly credits cover four full runs of all four layouts (920 credits) or twelve single-icon runs (960). You get PNG images, which Toybox doesn't currently watermark, but no transparent or vector files and no image uploads. The extra layouts rearrange the same design rather than offering new ones, and there's no revise box, so a change means editing the description and running it again.
